Funding for the scientific journal "Efficient Economy" is provided through Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by the author, their affiliated institution, a sponsor, or a grantor. The APC is set at 1,150 UAH and is intended to cover the actual costs required for the preparation and publication of the journal in open access. The APC amount does not depend on the number of authors of the article.
The Editorial Board provides free publication for sole-authored articles (without co-authors) written by third-level higher education seekers (PhD students) studying under the state-funded (budgetary) program, regardless of their higher education institution. This is subject to the submitted materials meeting the established requirements, principles of academic integrity, and successful completion of the peer-review process. Along with the article, PhD students studying under the budgetary program must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their form of study. This certificate must be properly issued, signed by the head of the postgraduate department, and certified with the seal of the relevant structural unit.
Publication Services Payment Policy
The journal "Efficient Economy" adheres to the principles of open science and provides full open access to all published materials.
All articles in the journal are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) 4.0 license, which ensures full open access to scientific materials.
The journal operates under the Gold Open Access model, according to which the full texts of all articles are freely available for reading, downloading, copying, distributing, or using, provided the source is properly cited.
Free access to the journal's materials is ensured by the Article Processing Charge (APC), which can be paid by the author, the author's institution, or a third party funding the research.
The journal follows the recommendations of the Fair Open Access Alliance regarding a transparent payment structure, taking into account Principle 5 of Plan S.
The publication fee is used exclusively to cover costs associated with editorial preparation and technical support of the publication: editorial and technical processing of manuscripts, layout, administration of the editorial system, DOI assignment, maintenance of the journal's website, and archiving of materials.
Payment of the publication fee does not influence editorial decisions. All articles undergo independent peer review, and the decision regarding their publication is made solely on the basis of scientific quality and relevance to the journal's thematic profile.
Submission of the manuscript and its peer review are free of charge.
Payment of the publication fee is made only after the article has been accepted for publication.
Payment details are sent to the author after a positive decision regarding the publication of the article has been made.
After payment, a copy of the receipt must be sent to the editorial office's email address.
Refunds are only possible in cases of significant circumstances that make the publication of the article impossible after the editorial process has been completed. The fee is non-refundable in cases of article withdrawal by the authors, retraction or correction of the article by the editors, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the editorial board's control.
